A popular and award winning artist, his book ‘Drawing Dramatic landscapes (published by search Press and the first in their ‘Innovative Artist’ series) has proved to be a best seller.
Robert regularly teaches popular webinars, masterclasses and demonstrated online specialist creative techniques for exciting and contemporary landscape and seascape subjects – several of which have been shown in leading galleries to include ‘The Pastel Society’ with The federation of British Artists and with the SGFA (The ‘Society of Graphic Fine Art’) at The Mall Galleries in London.
Robert also teaches popular outdoor painting and studio art holidays in The Lake District and workshops in his local area of Ryedale in North Yorkshire.
With fellow Unison Colour Associate Artist Andrew Moodie, together both artists (and close friends) with be showing over 60 pastel, drawings and mixed media paintings at National Trust Nunnington Hall, North Yorkshire (near Helmsley) in their collective exhibition ‘A Yorkshire Year’ showing from 14 September to 3 November 2024. It’s going to be an exciting selling exhibition and entrance to the exhibition is free. A date for your calendar for sure!
