Materials Needed

An assortment of artworks by Lucy showing off the gold leaf technique.
  • Imitation Gold Leaf
  • Gilding Size Glue
  • Brush, sponge or card to apply the glue
  • Tweezers – to apply the sheets
  • Soft Brush – to press the Leaf on to the surface (I use a soft make up brush)
  • Small Firm Brush – this helps to brush off the excess Leaf in defined areas
