Su, a qualified accountant, rekindled her love of art in 2006 and now runs her own art company full time.
Originally from Manchester in the UK Su has lived all over the UK, spent three years in Connecticut (USA) and is currently based in the Pays de Loire in France.
Su works in Pastels and Oil and loves to continue to learn new techniques from the many talented artists she surrounds herself with.
Having recently graduated from the Realist Academy in Manchester (studying traditional oil portraiture) Su is looking to transfer the skills learnt from oils to pastels and play with heightened colour – exciting times!
Su’s self-portrait was awarded Runner-up International Artist of the Year 2023 by the SAA.
Su loves teaching others pastel techniques through workshops and online tutorials, favouring Unison pastels as they are simply glorious to work with!
Su is now an associate artist with Unison Pastels, something she is very proud of.
Su exhibits her work in the UK and France.
