I cannot wait to see all your wonderful art come to life. I would like to introduce you to some tools to use alongside your pastels during this workshop, but they are not essential as I will be demonstrating layering with pastel, with some subtraction using the Slice ceramic tools which you can omit.
I am predominantly an animal artist working in a realistic style using pastels, but I do also create human portraits and more abstract work within my own collection. My background combines art and therapy and I recently wrote a blog for other artists via the Unison Colour website on setting SMART goals. If you are new to pastels or experience difficulty with confidence or motivation I hope this helps in breaking down any goals you have to succeed on your own journey as an artist.
