Combining the views from 2-3 of the photos I constructed a suitable composition. This formed the basis of the painting. I was a little uncertain about the insertion of the trees as I thought they might take away the impact of the rock formation and, as will be seen in the next section, one tree (at first) and then the other tree were removed. I was now in a position to transfer the image on to the Card.
