Detailed Feathers – Pastel Choices
I choose my initial palette by printing the photo reference then holding the pastel pencils and sticks next to the colours. Remember that when you start a painting your palette is your best guess and it’s okay to switch colours in / out of your palette.
Remember that it’s okay to have different colours than I’m using and it’s okay if you have a different stick and pencil sets.
