Detailed Feathers – Preparation

SIZE: 8×6 inches

Make your paper size 1 inch (2.5cm) larger. So you have a ½ inch border (1.25cm). I usually leave a larger border at the bottom – see video.

You’ll need:

• A damp cloth to keep your fingers clean and glassine or tracing paper to protect your work.

I’ll be using Dark Grey Pastelmat. But you can use pretty much any mid tone colour you like.
