Clouds with Grey Set – Materials

Unison Colour Pastels:

  • Grey set 1-18
  • Grey set 19-36
  • For mid-tone of sky-Unison BG 3
  • For grasses BE-6 or Dark 3


Prismacolor NuPastels

  • 305 Spruce Blue (for block-in and base of trees)
  • 298 Bottle Green (trees)
  • 235 Light blue (lightest blue value near horizon)
  • 265 Ultramarine Blue (or any blue violet pastel for darkest part of sky)

Cretacolor Hard pastels (for blending)

  • 151 Glacier Blue
  • 101 Permanent White  ( or any brand- hard white pastel)

Other:

  • 9×12 sheet of Clairefontaine PastelMat in “Sand”
  • Artist tape to secure paper to easel board
  • Old fan brush to “erase” any unwanted pastel marks
