The first short video will illustrate exercises 1 and 2
Exercise 1
Using 2 or 3 sheets of scrap paper, chalk and charcoal, practice drawing circles. Try this a bit faster each time to build up some momentum, try a long row of them joining each one and keeping contact between the chalk/charcoal and the paper. You will see that the more you practice the easier it is to draw a circle which is a really useful skill.
When this seems really easy then do the same thing with ellipses. You will see that when you link them together in a long row then you are in effect drawing a long tube which perfectly resembles a cylindrical object.
